While tubing on the river, it is important to respect the private property along the riverbanks. The river itself is public, and you are welcome to swim and get off on public islands. However, please avoid entering private properties. We encourage all our guests to be mindful and respectful of the landowners along the river to ensure a positive experience for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation!
The West Canada Tubing Company bus is a 29 seater passenger bus. You will get on the bus a few minutes prior to your assigned booking time and be dropped off at one of the 3 stops up the river.

We have several options of dry bags for sale in the Campground Store or in the Tubing Shack. These are well rated and we highly recommend them!
We know how important your phone is to you. Many people stream the trip BUT things also have a way of going into the river, never to be seen again. We take absolutely no responsibility for loss or damage. If you're going take these items, you must bring Ziploc bags for added protection or any– a plastic shopping bag is a good option. Remember, things may get wet if they aren't in a ziploc bag. We do sell several options of Dry Bags specifically for this purpose both in the Tubing Shack and in the Campground Store, and recommend this option best!
The weight limit is 250 pounds for the Tubes. You also have to be able to get in and out by yourself, both when you get into the river and while on the river in case you get into shallow water.
Sorry – no (and we have and love all animals). Their nails can puncture the Tubes
Since the River is relatively shallow, non-swimmers go tubing with us often. For about 75% of your trip, the river is less than four feet deep. We provide a life jacket that you must wear. There are a couple of areas where the water is over 6ft deep so wear your life jacket.
A note on the West Canada. River levels will generally be high enough for paddling year round, water is released both from the Hinckley reservoir and at the Power Company at the Trenton Falls Gorge. The river is known to rise and drop rapidly due to the upstream power operations that we continuously monitor.
If you’re in the area and haven’t been able to book online, call 315-826-7390 to confirm we can accommodate you. We do have a tubing shack and you can make an instant reservation and credit card payment here!
Any time – the West Canada has excellent flows May to September. Weekdays are less crowded, as are the early weekends.
